It is so fun to watch Molly play house and how she mimics me in her actions and words. Well sometimes it's not fun (when mimicing is bad)...but in this instance she sweetly was playing house with her dollies and her kitchen. Ain't she cute in her potty training gear? This was from this winter when it was cold to run around the house in her training underwear, so here she is sporting her leg warmers with her underwear:)

At the port where we were waiting to board our boat to go to
Isla Mijares (can't remember the spelling), we saw these pretty awesome looking Pirate Ships that they use to go out on cruises at night.

These two Mayan Indian women would walk up and down the beach with their little papooses on their backs all day in the hot sun. The lady with the white sling, had her little one sleeping often. It always looked like he couldn't breathe, but it could or she wouldn't carry him. They were selling their handcrafted belts that were woven with different color threads. Here they are admiring each others goods and taking a break. The other lady had a two year old too that she sometimes had with her that would walk beside her and one day he even found some ice cream that some one had set down on their table. He just picked up and started eating it with a grin on his face. His mom didn't even care that he had just randomly picked up this sweet treat with out asking.

Scott and I went to Cancun with my parents and stayed in a 2 bedroom condo of their time-share. We had a great time walking and hunting out some unique restaurants. I loved eating all the fresh tropical fruit and fresh fish and seafood!! Yum!

Cancun

Scott and I got to have some alone time away from the kids that is for a whole 8 days! It was great. We went to Cancun and relaxed....and relaxed....nothing much else. No kids, no cleaning the kitchen floor for a whole 8 days!!!!! And then it hits you like a brick wall on the 9th day when you go back to reality and you have 3 kids again and 2 of them spill there milk on the floor with in 3 minutes of each other. I just smile (not really) and bend down to wipe it all up. At least since I have been gone for awhile my patience isn't running on low and I can actually deal with 2 spills at once. Whew!!!!

So you think you are doing an ok job of parenting...brushing teeth for example. Then your kid one day screams in pain as he goes to bed saying that his mouth hurts....you say, "you'll be fine....go to bed." But they aren't fine and you find yourself at the oral surgeon's office waiting in the waiting room with two squirrely kids chasing each other around the room squealing with delight and your oldest son screaming at the top of his lungs from behind the dreaded door as they are yanking his molar out. Yes that was one of my latest parenting moments. And then look at the size of the rotting whole! So now we try to keep up with the flossing too! Oh the joys of parenting.
